How to break a wall without the proper length of the wick?

Here is my dilemma. I need to break thorugh a wall two feet thick concrete (with pebbles in it) but I have only a few feet 1.2 SDS drill (a hammer is my makita hr2450). The closest location tool is far enough. I thought that the first borehole from within and from outside, but theres only one reference point which is the natural gas pipe. Thus it is a way for two holes (interior and exterior) to respond? How can I find the reference point up?

A carpenter's level is all you need. Draw a level line on the wall inside and outside, just make sure you use the same at the top or bottom of the pipe to your reference point. Can be more than a point which is in line to the vertical that you want the hole and draw a plumb line from top to bottom and measure at the point where you want the hole, do the same for both interior and exterior. Then just make sure you hold the drill at right angles to the wall at the both up and down and sideways and holes should come very close to the tail.
